Where is the textile produced?
For more than 65 years, Troficolor has had a mission guided by the development and commercialization of textiles, creating tailored and differentiated textile products that always have design, innovation, quality and responsibility as a focus.

The Shirt Makers
Our Tencel shirts are produced in a small family-owned factory, located north of Porto in Portugal. Over the past 30 years, the factory has specialized in shirt production, based on the principles of classic tailoring combined with modern technology. We visit the factory as often as possible, where the couple, who runs the factory on a day-to-day basis, personally receives us on the production floor and afterwards has a chat over a Portuguese lunch.
Tencel / Lyocell
Tencel is made from Lyocell fibers extracted from sustainably grown trees using a unique closed loop system that recovers and recycles around 99% of the solvents and water used, minimizing the environmental impact of production.
The primary raw material used for Lyocell fibers are the fast-growing eucalyptus trees, which help give the textile its unique softness and properties such as effective moisture management and antibacterial effect.
Derived from nature, the Lyocell fibers from Lenzing have been certified as compostable and biodegradable materials, so that they can fully return to nature.
Appearance Tencel shirt is produced in Portugal in responsible factories, according to some of the strictest environmental standards and certifications.
